Meet Steve

Steve Felder has called St. Charles home for 20 years and believes local government works best when it stays focused on serving residents, solving problems, and planning responsibly for the future.

Raised on a dairy farm, Steve learned early the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and seeing a job through. He later served six years in the United States Navy as a nuclear reactor operator and electronics technician—an experience that reinforced the importance of preparation, accountability, teamwork, and leadership. 

Steve has built his professional career around forecasting, planning, data analysis, and solving complex business problems. He currently works for Bayer as a Forecast Manager.

Closer to home, Steve serves as President of his Tuscany community HOA, giving him firsthand experience listening to neighbors, addressing community concerns, managing competing priorities, and working toward practical solutions.

Steve is running for City Council to bring that same practical, analytical, and service-oriented approach to Ward 4—while making sure residents have a strong voice in the decisions shaping St. Charles.
